Based on current scientific evidence, the routine use of stents for the treatment of erectile dysfunction is not recommended. Although studies have been conducted on this topic in certain patient groups in the past, the results do not support the widespread use of stents.

In our clinical practice, we first investigate the underlying cause in patients experiencing erectile dysfunction and then develop a treatment plan tailored to that cause. Successful outcomes can be achieved using modern methods such as medication, shock wave therapy (ESWT), regenerative treatments, and, when necessary, penile prosthesis surgery.
