Ligamentectomy is a surgical procedure performed to make part of the penis more visible outside the body. It is commonly known as penis lengthening surgery.

However, when used on its own, the amount of lengthening it provides is limited. For this reason, it is currently used in combination with other penis enlargement methods at many centers. It is not a suitable method for every patient, and a decision should be made following a detailed evaluation.
