We can't have children. Should the man or the woman get checked first?
Infertility should not be viewed as a problem attributable solely to the man or solely to the woman.
Male factors play a role in approximately half of all infertility cases. Therefore, when pregnancy cannot be achieved, both the man and the woman should be evaluated simultaneously. This allows for a faster diagnosis and helps prevent unnecessary delays.
As I always tell my own patients, when it comes to infertility, the best approach is to evaluate the situation as a couple rather than placing the blame on just one person.
