Prof. Dr. Volkan İzol received the title of Doctor of Medicine from Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine in 2002 and the title of Urology Specialist from Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Urology in 2008 .

He started working as a faculty member in the same Department in 2011 and received the title of associate professor on April 16, 2015, and professor on August 28, 2020. Izol, who was entitled to receive the European Urology Diploma during his assistantship, worked as an observer at Johns Hopkins University (USA) to increase his knowledge and experience in minimally invasive surgery during his post-specialty period.

Izol, who has many articles published in international and national peer-reviewed journals, has given more than 200 oral presentations and speeches in international and domestic scientific meetings. Izol, who is frequently interested in Urooncology and minimally invasive urological surgery in his daily practice, currently serves as a faculty member at Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Urology.
